Recent Obsessions

So within the past few months I have watched all of Shameless, the UK version. It has gone through more main characters than One Tree Hill, I think, but still remains amazing. The cinematography is top notch, and the audio branding incredible. I've been watching the American version as well, and I'm surprised at the drastic differences between the two, even with the same basic characters. I loved the story lines this season with Frank and butterface, and Frank and his mother. Sheila has become quite annoying, but Jody has grown on me with his easy-going, empathetic charm (I used to hate his face... ug he seemed so stupid). The Fiona-Jimmy crap is still kinda crap, but now there's a Portuguese chick to mix things up... It was weird how fast this season went... Hmmm...

I also started watching Two And A Half Men. I'm almost done with season 4. I'm so bad with names, but I love the maid. Judith is a bitch most of the time, and Alan is so pathetic it hurts at times. Jake is pretty much awesome all the time. Charlie.... meh.

Desperate Housewives is ending in a few weeks, another series I've watched from the beginning. Even though I kind of hate Brie, I'm not sure I want her to go to jail for the murder of Gabby's (step?)father.

I just caught up with Southland. Oh my golly. You have to see this show. It is quite raw, and the writing is intensely amazing. I could (and did) watch it all day.

Finally, I just started watching Nip/Tuck. I went through four episodes in one night and ended up going to sleep at five in the morning. Sigh, at least I only have one morning class a week.

Ok, well hopefully I update this often. I watch too many TV shows to count, so I guess I'll post whenever one really sticks out to me. I want to see how my critical writing goes with this... Maybe I'll post some screencaps or something with future blogs. Who knows?

One Tree Hill Series Finale

It's kinda sad to see this show go, especially since I've seen every episode since it started. This was one of the first TV shows I started watching, and I'm glad it survived nine seasons. They went through a lot of changes throughout the way, but they always kept me entertained.
